Stunning.

I see ALOT of weddings. Almost every weekend, either for work or for pleasure, I am at a wedding. That's part of being a photographer in your late 20's, I guess. Either way, I always have a pretty good perception of  what the current trends in weddings are, and usually see an example or two of them before they're "out of style". This wedding was the perfect blend of timeless and trendy, working in the peacock decor that's very IN right now, but maintaining a beautiful, traditional, classy feeling. This church wedding and country club reception embraced tradition, while keeping stylish and reflective of this awesome bride and groom. I look forward to working with them often in the future!

Beaming.

I like to think I make a connection with all of my clients. I take pride in getting to know at least a little bit about each of them. It helps me to convey their personalities and their story in photos. I can't do that if I treat every client like a number on my calendar.

This beautiful mom-to-be, her fiancee, and their blended family will be welcoming a new addition to their family very soon, and spent the afternoon with me to do her maternity photos. I had a great time, and even though I only spent a few hours with them, I got to know them and their story and their plans, and I can't wait to be a part of them. With a new baby coming some time next month, a older daughter getting ready for her senior year, and a wedding in the works, this is a VERY exciting time for this family, and I consider myself blessed for the opportunity to be their family photographer.

Tradition.

"Traditional" weddings are really starting to become the exception, as opposed to the rule. Trust me - I see ALOT of weddings!

This bride, a friend of another one of my beautiful brides, came to me after seeing her friend's photos and while going over her contract, told me a little about her family. Both she and her husband (their wedding was technically a vow renewal), had two children that they brought to their marriage, and they wanted a "real" wedding. White dress, flowers, dance floor whole nine yards. And WOW, did they get it. This wedding took place at the beautiful Tennessee Gardens event facility in Redlands, California, and every detail was traditional and family-centered. I was so pleased with the way the photos came out, and consider myself very blessed to have been a part of this couple's special day.

Far.

I went in to this business expecting to put a bunch of miles on my car - and that's OK, I drive a Toyota, it will run until the wheels fall off, but unfortunately, I do have to put a limit on just how far I will go for an individual session. That being said, I got a little tired of the same old locations and wanted to spice it up a little. I invited some clients out to Oak Glen, a little apple farming town a little more than an hour from where I live. I had some awesome families come up and spend the day with me (one family chose to do their maternity session with me up there), and we got some great photos!
